About

The main thing I want you to know about me is that I promise to treat you well and make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. I am sure you will say “I do not like having my photos taken” but I will not be surprised to hear after your shoot “I actually enjoyed the photoshoot and it was fun". 🤩

Are you looking for natural and authentic photographs of you, your family, your business, your hobby or your pregnancy? Then you are in the right place.

I am proud to offer my distinctive style of business, pregnancy, newborn and family photography, on location and from my studio in picturesque Purley on Thames in the heart of Berkshire.

As well as the shoot itself, where you’ll feel fulfilled and empowered, I can supply carefully sourced products that include stunning wall art and prints to capture this special and amazing time in your life.

As well as the correct lighting and composition, I aim to make sure everyone involved feels safe and relaxed during their photo shoot.

If you book me, you can expect a service based on trust and a sense of profound pride in what we can achieve together: timeless memories to be treasured.

I have over 25 years of experience photographing clients inside and outside of the studio. I am trained to the highest standard in the art and safety of newborn photography, and I’m a member of  ‘Everything Baby Berkshire’.

Are you looking for authentic brand photoshoots in Berkshire and beyond?

Why have a maternity shoot?

With my first baby, the only photo I allowed to be taken of my bump was in the early hours of the morning when I got dressed to go to the hospital as I was in labour. I showed my belly and smiled quickly for the camera before we got in the car. It was not the best photo but I am pleased I have one to record my first pregnancy.

A decade later I was pregnant again but this time I booked a professional pregnancy shoot. I had my hair and make-up done and I took along my best friend. The photos were a surprise for my wonderful husband and we got some beautiful images to remember that special time.

Is newborn photography important for you?

I am trained in the art and safety of newborn photography & loved to capture babies and their connection with their families. They are only this little for a short amount if time.

I love to offer family photoshoots in Berkshire and beyond

Family photography is my first love. Family photography is priceless. I love to capture families both on location or in the studio.

A few things about me

I became a photographer when I took my eldest for her newborn photos over 25 years ago and realised this is what I want to do. I started out doing action photography and sold my 125 motocross bike for a camera.

When I was in my twenties my go kart went up in flames and me too but I survived without a mark, just lost some hair and the back of my jumper.

I have done a few challenges in my time including tough mudders with my family & the moon walk.  I loved the paint runs and activity ones with my daughters. Now my main love is yoga, mountain biking, walking in nature and sometimes trampolining in the back garden.

I went to Calcutta in India to support the Hope foundation who help the slum & street children whilst improving my street photography.

I am addicted to jasmine green tea and love vegan cake. I have been sober for four years in November 2022. (Being sober was a health choice)

I love visiting new places however Turkey has my heart. My dream is to own a VW van or to convert a van. We actually hired a camper van in 2021 which I loved.

Sunsets and sunrises never stop amazing me. I am bit woo woo & I want to learn more about the earth, moon and stars.

I have a lot of gratitude for my family, friends and clients and to be doing a job that I love which gives me great balance to enjoy working and having time with family.

That is enough talking about myself–how about You? CONTACT me and we can zoom, email, pick up the phones or meet up for tea and maybe cake too.
